Many of our international patients visit during their holiday — some with sudden toothache, others planning to combine the beach with dental care. Here is an honest guide: what fits into 1–2 weeks, what it costs, and where the real savings are.
How it starts
The first visit — examination, consultation and X-rays — is free. The dentist shows you the images, explains what to prioritise and gives you the price before any work begins. You can send photos or existing X-rays in advance via Telegram or WhatsApp so we can plan appointments around your travel dates.
What fits into a holiday
- Fillings, scaling and whitening — usually one visit.
- Root canal treatment — usually 1–2 visits; severe inflammation may need more.
- Crowns — usually 2–3 working days: the tooth is prepared and scanned or impressioned, then the crown is fitted. Please confirm timing when booking.
- Extractions, including wisdom teeth — possible, but don't leave them to your last days: allow 3–5 days before your flight for a follow-up check.
Indicative prices
From our price list; USD amounts use the 19 September 2026 exchange rate and are rounded. The exact cost is confirmed after examination.
- Filling: 100,000–500,000 VND (≈ $4–19).
- Scaling: 100,000–500,000 VND (≈ $4–19).
- Root canal: 1,000,000–1,500,000 VND depending on the number of canals (≈ $38–57).
- Zirconia crown: from 2,000,000 VND (≈ $76); Cercon HT (Germany): 5,000,000 VND (≈ $190).
- Wisdom tooth extraction: 1,000,000–2,000,000 VND (≈ $38–76).
- Whitening: 1,500,000 VND (≈ $57).
Implants: honest timing
An implant is placed first and then needs to integrate with the bone — usually 2 to 6 months — before the crown is fitted. A complete implant therefore can't be finished in one holiday; it needs two trips or a longer stay. For example, a Megagen (Korea) implant with a zirconia crown costs about 18,000,000 VND (≈ $680).
